Sydney Film Festival
The SFF will start sometime in June. If you guys wanna go watch some of the latest short films that are out there, definately check it out and book your tickets now.
Also, if you are really interested but too shy to go by yourself.. Just let me know and I'll try organise a group of us to go watch some films.

Movie Screening
Since the Movie Screening went over the time limit on Wednesday (*cough*) We shall continue watching Yunfei's production video on Monday, and then each group can show their DVD cover design and storyboard to the class...
Dray watched and observed her little monsters as they ran around in their teams to get organized... She smiled to herself because this is really how the production process works. Sometimes you have a set date for the film to be released, and production companies have to fight against the time while still maintaining professional quality in their film.
All of you done an amazing job, I was quite impressed with what I've seen so far.
I think the most relaxed group was Sesi's production, as they finished on time and met the requirements. Only thing is the sound problem, if there is a way to fix up the sound on Monday so we can watch again =]
All the other production teams did a great job too, but you all slowed down in the editing process, because you were in the filming stage for too long. Next time, plan more carefully so you can finish on time.
Ok my little monsters, have a great weekend! Your movie trailers are almost done marking. So expect to see marks before next class.

YOUR MOVIE IDEAS
My little monsters,
Don't forget to email me your idea proposal before Monday's class!
If your unsure about what to do, just send me a couple of ideas and I'll help you come up with something.
As long as you email me SOMETHING, then thats better than NOTHING.. You can even just send me an email saying "help!" and I'll help you!! Not that hard guys ;)
Ok well hope everyone enjoys the rest of their week, I'll see you in Monday's lab.

Hey my little monsters!
Is everyone having a busy weekend working on their assignment 1? xD
Just a REMINDER..
Its due on Monday, so ...
For those of you that have finished your assignment, I will be having a look at it on Monday, and you can make last-minute corrections to it.
This assignment is due before MIDNIGHT on Monday, so anyone who submits their video after midnight will lose -5%.
Upload on JIVI
Zipped folder of:
1. Video file
2. Premiere file
You can't just submit the video on the blog, because it will be low quality. But upload on the blog anyway if you want to share your video with the class =]
If you have any more questions, Please ask me !

happy easter my little monsters xD
Hows everyone going with their assignments?
Just reminding you that there is no class tomorrow (duhh public holiday) and that there is a 'catch-up' class on Tuesday the 6th 6pm-8pm in room ____ . (dw, im pretty sure i can hunt you guys down)
Our Tuesday lesson, it's going to be all Premiere stuff... So I'll be in the classroom with you guys if you need any help with editing or if you have any questions.
Just watched this film recently and wrote a very bad review about it because the movie SUCKS! But you guys should watch it if you really like CG effects and awesome 3D stuff. Sorry, Dr Dray is being random..
So guys i totally recommend you come along for the tuesday night class, i promise it will be fun =] and each of you will get some awesome easter eggs (you might even get to finish your assignments that night if your lucky... bwahaha..)

LAB FOR WEEK 4
This lesson we will be watching the movie you picked last week for your trailer.
I want all of you to watch your movies before Wednesday, because in our lecture for Week 4, we will be drawing the storyboards for your trailers. (Yayyy)
